The role our thoughts and beliefs play is very powerful. It is amazing and truly helpful to know that underneath every thought or any belief you have there are only two core energies or motivating forces. In other words every thought or belief will come down to one of these two energies.
The first of these is love. Thoughts and beliefs that have a core energy of love are very supportive, practical, useful and believable. They are felt in the body as relaxed, comfortable, feel right in the gut and the breath is usually deep and full in the belly. Language such as ‘choosing’ and approaches such ‘allowing’ have a core energy of love.
The second core energy is fear. Thoughts and beliefs that have a core energy of fear are limiting and unsupportive. They are felt in the body as tension, not at ease and the breath is often shallow and in the upper chest. Language such as should, must, gotta, oughta all have a fear core energy. Striving, efforting and trying also have a core energy of fear.
We can discern if our thinking or our beliefs have a core energy of love or fear through the breath. If you think a thought and it is easy to breath deeply than it is likely to have a core energy of love. If you think a thought and it is difficult to breathe it is likely to have a core energy of fear. Stress and anxiety are the effects, the consequences of fearful thinking.
Remembering that in our ego consciousness the body mind does have a security system to keep this organism safe and alive called the stress or trauma response and I have shared about in another blog.
Ensuring that we are actually not in any harm’s way we have the capacity and power to choose what we think and what we believe. We have the capacity to choose loving thoughts and beliefs that are supportive of us and to witness and release unloving or fearful thoughts and beliefs.
“A miracle is a shift in perception from fear to love,” Marianne Williamson.
